Joseph Charotte Violin France 1820's
This gorgeous violin was made in 1820's by Joseph Charotte in France. This violin is considered the all time favorite shop violin by members of our staff! When it projects it fills the room with wonderful warm even tone. We obtained a dendrochronology report (available by request) which shows the spruce to be from 1813. We also sent the instrument to Serge & Florent Boyer in France for their expert opinion, and obtained a certificate. The instrument has been confirmed to be authentic in all it's parts. It has been re-varnished, however it is characteristic of Charotte's work.
