Shorter scale length. Dark, Rich Tone. Labeled Republic of Amsterdam Early-Mid 1700. Ribs have been replaced. Amazing sounding instrument, deep low end with strong midrange and plenty of high end to balance the range. This is a shop favorite. An expert in 18th century European violins has attributed this to Egidius Snoeck, Brussels in 1720.
