Violin family instruments are of the few type of instruments that can be scaled down small enough for even a 3 year old to play. This wide range in size means that a student will have to replace the violin every 6 months to year or so. This makes using a rental violin a good choice so that the student can use the optimal size as they grow in size. Just as important is the development of their ear musically. Student violins also come in varied degrees of quality. A beginner needs a violin with a clear tone that is easy to play. We setup each rental violin in-store by our luthier staff and maintain them for you at no extra cost, other than replacing strings or rehairing the bow. Half or your monthly or yearly rental rate is accrued as credit to purchase any instrument we own.
